The Businessmen Hospital Trust established Shalamar Hospital in 1982 as a not- for- profit Hospital to cater the needs of patients belonging to the lower income population of Lahore, a historic city with over 7 million population. With the sustained efforts of the Board of Trust and the Management of Hospital, Shalamar Hospital has grown to 350 beds and is now amongst major health care providers in Lahore.
